The Hall of Monuments Progression Scheme – Extended!

In March we set up the Hall of Monuments Progression Scheme to give those with under 30 points a leg up on their way to unlocking all the rewards in Guild Wars 2. Today marks a month until the day we’ll be able to walk through Tyria for the second time, and so far we have at least 11 members with 50 points and at least 22 more members with at least 30 points. Even though we’ve given away over 600k of items, we still have over 8,000k’s worth of assets we’d like to rehome.

To that end, we’re extending the Hall of Monuments scheme to anyone with less than 50 points who joined before 1st July 2012 and up to a maximum of 500k credit. You can find details of the tiers below, as well as limited and off limit items.

To request items, please fill in this short form. Alternatively you can contact Laz, Ku or Tasha directly. The items you can receive and their approximate value can be found here, but you can request out of stock items – they’ll just take a little longer to rustle up.

If you need help obtaining titles we suggest posting your need on our forum to rally support! We can arrange events for harder content as needed, you just need to let us know. We’re already planning a trip to the Underworld on the 4th August.

We recommend you get your requests for items in early to avoid disappointment – we’ll be stopping accepting requests on 20th August in preparation for the Farewell Party on the 24th where we’ll give away anything we have left.

The small print 

- You must be a member of Mystic Spiral [MYST] who joined before 1st July 2012

- Your account must have fewer than 50 Hall of Monuments points.

- We’re capping the amount of donations an account can receive so we can help as many people as possible. The credit cap based on the estimated worth on the items and how many points the account has:

0-9: approximately 500k credit

10-19: approximately 400k credit

20-29: approximately 300k credit

30-39: approximately 200k credit

40-49: approximately 100k credit

An estimated value for your requested goods will be provided to you (we’re not nitpicking here, just trying to spread the cash evenly and widely). There is no cash alternative.

- Armor can be expensive so we’re restricting the volume of materials being given away as follows. Anything not on the list is fair game as long as it’s for Elite armor.

Fissure of Woe – no items will be donated

Vabbian – 7 Rubies & 7 Sapphires (approx 100k)

Elite Luxon – 40 Jadeite (approx 30k)

Elite Kurzick – 40 Amber (approx 30k)

 - Weapons can be pricey too. Only one Armbrace or Tormented Weapon (approx 200k) per account that doesn’t already have one

- Minipets can be in short supply, so only one green and one gold per account that doesn’t already have one. You can also have up to 18 common or uncommon ones (which should altogether get you 5 HoM points!)

- Applications must be received before 11:59pm UTC on 20th August 2012
