Phew what a month. There’s been a lot going on so grab a cuppa and settle down for some community news!
Saying goodbye, the only way we know how
It seems ages ago now but on the 24th, we said goodbye to Guild Wars with a party in the guild hall that included a quiz on Guild Wars and general knowledge and some dodgeball. Thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make it a success and congratulations to all those who got questions right during the quiz. Just before the party we closed the Hall of Momuments scheme which had given away over 3000k’s worth of items. We were also able to help more people at the party to get last minute points.
The launch of Guild Wars 2 hasn’t been the smoothest thing ever, but hopefully you’re having lots of fun anyway. If you find yourself locked out of the guild and would like company, you can always join us on Steam chat or Ventrilo. Between the various service outages the guild has managed to get a decent amount of influence. We’ve built a guild emblem which can be use in WvW and have a modest 50 slot guild bank which you should be able to access in any major city. We’re working our way towards having a fully expanded guild bank, but that will take some time to achieve.
We’ve had a lot of new and returning members recently so do stop by the Introductions room to get to know them a bit – don’t forget to say hi in game too. Congratulations to Timmeey and Valknut for their promotion to full membership!
Now onto the stats. there were a whopping 1079 posts on the forum this month made by 54 posters – 8 were new users and 8 were returning users.

Congratulations to Ertzi for making the 25000th forum post
Coming up this month I suspect there will be lots of Guild Wars 2 being played and we’ll be starting regular events in the middle of the month. At the end of September we have the next real life guild meetup in the UK, followed quickly by Eurogamer Expo in London. You can find out more about both of these events in our private discussion room.
