The calendar is powered by 2 Google calendars. The first covers holidays and general events, such as conventions or gaming weekends. The other covers organised events and entries are marked in gold. Both are public calendars, and can be subscribed to from your own Google accounts or anything else that will accept a Google calendar as a source.

General events calendar:

Subscribing to a calendar with Google

  1. Sign in to your Google account and go to Calendars
  2. Click the down-arrow next to Other calendars
  3. Select Add by URL from the menu
  4. Enter the URL of the calendar you wish to add from those above in the field provided
  5. Click the Add Calendar button. The calendar will appear in the Other Calendars section of the calendar list to the left.

Managing Alerts

  1. Sign in to your Google account and go to Calendars
  2. Click the down-arrow next to the calendar you wish to manage alerts on
  3. Select Notifications
  4. Set a general reminder for all events in the section labelled Event Reminders (this can be overridden on a per event basis) as required
  5. Set other alerts as required(including a daily digest of events for the day)
  6. Save settings
