Full announcement: http://www.twitch.tv/guildwars2/c/5954011 (skip in 4 minutes for the start of it)

Looking pretty nice from my point of view. I'm glad there's not another few levels to grind with new weapon sets, and think the specialisations and masteries are a nice way of providing options in PvE without cluttering PvP. Quite looking forward to seeing the new legendaries; who knows, I might actually get one!

Really glad I've got a Rezzed ticket already. ^^

Does that mean you will GoPro all GW2 stuff and show it to us? :P

I'm moderately enthusiastic about all this. I'm going to wait for actual details before going all OMGWTFHYYYYYPE! Also, I really hope they'll do a beta/preview weekend like they did in GW1.

Most things in the announcement were pretty cool. I'm hoping the gliding has to be activated rather than something that happens from a free fall, otherwise I wont be able to jump off of tall things and see how close I get to hitting the floor.....

I'm not hyped about guild halls. Hoping they do not add things like crafters / forge etc etc to them as I feel that it will empty out towns too much. As they said, friendliest community.... can't happen if everyone's hiding in a guild hall!

Oh and no Tengus! :D :D :D :D :D

Yea, 4 things I'm excited for:
Precursors through quests of some sort (mastery or so?)
Guild halls
New roles for excisting classes
New class

It's nice that mastery points for stuff you've already done (I'm looking at you, world completion) are automatically awarded. No need to redo everything we've done in the past years \o/

I am a bit worried of the impact of masteries on gameplay though. Especially the combat masteries. I'd hate to see them become "necessary" to do certain content without dieing 24/7.

I'd assume those are only needed for the new area. Think they already stated they don't want old content to become too easy (or 'old classes' to be redundant).
