sad.gif Whenever I try to connect to Windows Live in Dawn Of War II I get the error message saying

"Error: The Profile cannot be signed into LIVE there may be a network problem or the Windows live ID may not be available"

My web is working fine.
I'm using a valid Windows Live acount with the correct password. And yes i have checked this
I've tried rebooting twice
I've tried looking over the web but nothing has been helpful
I've tried port forwarding
I've updated my Windows
I've tried running the program as Admin
I'm able to sign into MSN / any other windows programs..
I would try a re-install, but I really cba to go do all the campaign that i've done again...

So i'm just curious if anyone else has had this problem or something simular and is able to give me a helping hand =( Because i'm really quite mad that i've paid for the full game and only getting half the expierience just because it feels like it doesn't wanna let me play.

It could be that DoW2 is hogging the same port that MSN uses or similar. Can you sign into msn normally?

Having intallation trouble with DoW2 myself. My dvd drive thinks the retail disk is blank. I know this isn't similar to your problem in any way, it's just been bugging me xD

Only thing I can think of is have you already got it authorised in Steam? Seem to remember hearing people complain they couldn't get the game to work and it was because of that.

But nerd rage is a good kind of rage... its an excuse to get really really angry at something that just doesn't matter, as supposed to getting really angry IRL.... keeps the madnesses in check biggrin.gif
